This is the link for the article I am reading, which is about the child mortality rate decreasing in sub-Saharan Africa. Both of UNICEF and the World Health Organisation (WHO) said they had did a good job to make child mortality decreasing from 12 million in 1990 to 7.6 million in 2010. And the article also mention the death child rate have been increasing 82 percent in 2010, compared with 69 percent in 1990. Oh man, really... but please do not forgot that still have 12,000 more children's lives are being missing(I mean die) each day, most of them are under the age of five. The main reasons thus the result of this happen might be the immunisation, unclean water and not enough nutrition and it is often happen in the poor countries.
After I read this news which is force on the child mortality rate in sub-Saharan Africa, I do not feel as well as usual. I though a lot,and I feel I was so luck that born in a better place to the sub-Saharan African babies. At least I service after I have a serious problem with the immunisation system. This news remind me that I have to do something to help the poor little babies over there, may be just donate money or I will joining some organization to helping children. I know that just a tiny little power, but that is better than nothing. By the way, children is the future; we should give a little bit, that might make a big change for them.
You are right; this is good news, but also sad news...Because of the high number of kids who are STILL dying. You are also right that even small contributions can make a difference; I think that many of the diseases that cost the lives of many kids are curable with cheap (cheap for us in the developed world anyways) medicines.
